As part of my Core Skills assessment, I am required to record and edit a short video. To do this, I can borrow equipment from Technical Officer Mark Pickering (Com 121) or Media Services (Cos 102-105). Booking in advance is required to loan anything from Media Services, which can be done on the SiSo website.

Even before attempting this test I knew that I was a night owl. Its results served only to reaffirm my belief.

The test involves getting up at various times of the day – 6AM, 1PM, 6PM 1AM – and solving a math equation as well as coming up with at least two video game ideas in various places. The ideas will not be published in this blog post as I’d like to develop them myself in the unforeseeable future.

As an ARU student in the Department of Computing & Technology, I have access to Microsoft products available in the Microsoft Imagine Premium program through the university’s ELMS WebStore.

It is a lot more practical for a person as immersed in the digital realm as I am to rely on a digital calendar instead of an analog one, which is precisely why I use one!
